We all want to live our best lives, but sometimes the steps to making even the smallest improvements can feel overwhelming when we are taking them alone. Setting up the proper support systems can facilitate the transition and online therapy is a straightforward, private way to work out some of the questions within the comfort of your own home.
Most people enter adulthood with issues from the past. Sometimes minimal, sometimes extreme, all of them need to be managed to develop into the most successful versions of ourselves. Our process is simple. We help you glance up at the future to make sure you are heading in the right direction and then we ease back into learning how to enjoy the present.
Existential therapy can sound a little intimidating, but it is really just about deciding who you are and whom you would like to be. Existentialists develop an awareness of self and engage in actions that help create an authentic and worthy existence.
What does that mean? It means YOU have more control over your life and deciding your fate than you realize and the decisions you make directly affect your present and future happiness.
The four main tenets (concerns) of existential therapy are: isolation, meaninglessness, death and freedom. Those are intense, but they are all about appreciating being alone, establishing meaningful relationships while searching for and finding relevance in life, accepting death as inevitable and celebrating the choices and freedoms we are granted. It is essential that we break down our barriers - defense mechanisms, insecurities and relationships not aiding in your success and set up appropriate boundaries and goals to push
through the trying times therefore maximizing our brief time on this earth. We feel that existential therapy can be the most effective practice for dealing with minor to major life improvements, adjusting to unfortunate circumstances, depression, finding your passions and a plethora of other topics and we are happy to consult with you to ensure that it is the best technique to meet your needs. We look forward to guiding you in your eminent growth and love for living.
